Local rabbi joins pluralism talks in R.I.

The retreat was organized by the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, or CLAL, which in Hebrew means "all Jews." Miller's participation was funded by Anita and Ronald Wornick of Hillsborough. At the retreat, rabbis -- male and female -- from the Reform, Conservative and Orthodox movements sought ways to study and worship together and discuss contemporary issues in synagogue. While he declined to give details, Miller said not all the rabbis agreed all the time, yet no one betrayed his or her own Jewish practice during the week.
