Organizations seek donations to aid refugees
Several Jewish organizations are accepting contributions to help the refugees from Kosovo. All checks should be marked "Kosovo Refugee Relief" in the memo section. Here are the groups:
*American Jewish World Service, Kosovar Relief Effort, 989 Avenue of the Americas, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10018. *B'nai B'rith International, Humanitarian Relief Fund, 1640 Rhode Island Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20036-3278. Contributions may also be made via a secure server on the B'nai B'rith web site at http://www.bnaibrith.org *S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation. Mail to JCF-Kosovo Refugee Relief, 121 Steuart St., S.F., CA 94105. Checks should be made payable to the JCF and marked "Kosovo Refugee Relief" in the memo section. Donations will be forwarded in full to the JDC. *UJA Federations of North America, c/o Kosovo Relief Fund, 111 Eighth Ave., Suite 11E, New York, NY 10011. Checks should be made payable to the CJF Disaster Relief Fund.
