Religious diversity to be topic at MJCC conference

Lama Surya Das, a highly ranked Tibetan Buddhist spiritual teacher, will join the Rev. Cecil Williams of San Francisco's Glide M
Rabbi Lavey Derby of Congregation Kol Shofar in Tiburon will act as facilitator during the conference titled "The Journey."

Humorist David Roche will present an excerpt from his one-man show, "The Church of 80% Sincerity." The Fairfax Community Church will offer a labyrinth -- a circular, spiraling pathway for meditation.

The conference will take place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 200 N. San Pedro Road, San Rafael. Tickets are $50 to $65. For information, call (415) 479-2000.
