Jewish exec's body found
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (JTA) -- The search for the executive director of a Jewish old-age home was called off this week when his body Local police assert that Rick Wallace drowned accidentally after drinking alcohol.
Until his body was discovered, family and police differed in their belief about his fate. Friends and family members were convinced that Wallace met foul play. But police, who had conducted an extensive search of the hotel grounds where he was staying -- including the lake where he was later found -- believed Wallace chose to disappear. He is survived by his wife and two teenage children.
