Mediterranean tides lap against Tel Aviv’s luxury tower

by jochanan altman
jerusalem post service

tel aviv | You don’t have to live on a ship or a yacht to live on the sea. At the Sea and Sun project in the north of Tel Aviv, you’ll live practically on the beach when it’s completed.

Built by the Aviv Construction and Development, this project is unique in that it is built practically at the water’s edge. And because of Israel zoning laws, it will probably be one of the only residential developments built on a beach.

Sea and Sun is remarkable not only because of its location but also because of its architectural design and the quality of the construction work.

Aviv Construction and Development is one of Israel’s best-known companies in the industry. Established in 1963 by the late Moshe Aviv, it has built many large and complex projects. The company has constructed many of the high-rise buildings in the Ramat Gan diamond exchange sector, including the Moshe Aviv Tower Building. With 69 stories, it is the tallest building in the Middle East.

The latest project, Sea and Sun, fits in well with the list of quality construction projects undertaken by the company. Its excellent design affords a high degree of quality of life to its residents, while the quality of construction and the special material built into the building process will provide endless enjoyment to the inhabitants of Sea and Sun.

The whole complex is V-shaped, with one seven-story V-shaped building and two three-story residential buildings. The sharp end faces the sea while the base faces east. In the space between the buildings is an area that has been used to build communal service buildings for the 250 families that will ultimately be residing in the development. There are three swimming pools for those who prefer the enclosed waters of the pool to the open waters of the Mediterranean; a spa complex that includes a gym, saunas and Jacuzzis; a squash court; large halls for cultural events or private celebrations; a synagogue; a restaurant; a spacious lobby; and well-tended lawns and gardens.

The quality of construction and the materials used are also important. All materials used can withstand the corrosive effects of sea air. The company has also made sure that the apartments are equipped with the latest in home appliances, such as air conditioning, modern kitchens and electric shutters. Residents can enjoy modern living at its best while also partaking in the delights of waking up to the sound of the waves, taking a dip whenever they wish, with the beach practically at their front door. And all this within a few minutes’ drive from the amply supplied mall of Ramat Aviv and the commercial and entertainment facilities of Tel Aviv.
