Aptos synagogue to present independent video festival
Temple Beth El's "Jewish Independent Video Festival and Popcorn Pop-Off" will take place Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25 at Opening the festival at 7 p.m. June 24 will be "Evie's Choice," "Uman: The Story of a Journey," "The Color of Jewish," and "Ques
Continuing at 8 p.m. the screening will include "My Grandfather Dances," "A Joyful Noise: The Lost Jewish Music of Philadelphia," "Café Noah" and "Sane Insane." Participants are invited to bring popcorn to share. The event is free, but donations will be accepted. For information, call (831) 479-3444.
