'ChefTalk' to debut at JCC

During the second program in the series, Goldstein will talk with Dr. Andrew Weil and Rosie Daley at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, April 13. The pair co-wrote "The Healthy Kitchen." Cost is $16 for JCC members, $20 for non-members, $40 for advance ticket and book. KGO's Gene Burns will interview Heidi Krahling and Al and Keith Guisto at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 22. Krahling is the chef and owner of Insalata's Restaurant in San Anselmo. The Guistos are bakers at Guisto's Specialty Foods, located in South San Francisco and Petaluma. Tickets are $14 for JCC members, $18 for non-members. Burns also will talk with Alice Waters and Deborah Madison at 7:30 p.m. Monday, June 24. Waters is executive chef and owner of Chez Panisse in Berkeley. She wrote "Chez Panisse Fruit," to be published in May. Madison is founding chef of Greens and author of "Local Flavors: Cooking and Eating From America's Farmers' Markets." Tickets are $14 for JCC members, $18 for non-members, $86 for advance ticket and both books. The Koret Foundation is a co-sponsor of the series. For information, call (415) 479-2000.
