Samantha Miriam Friedland A daughter born May 1 to Rachel and Andrew Friedland of San Francisco. She is the sister of Naomi. Grandparents are Frances and Alan Bennett of Palo Alto, Norman and Mona Friedland of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and Rosilyn and Marshall Wetstone of Bloomfield, Conn.
