Alexandra Wall and Paul Bosky were married in Soquel, near Santa Cruz, on Aug. 27.
Alix, of Oakland, is the daughter of Irwin Wall of New York, N.Y., and Riverside and the late Sarah Wall. Paulie, also of Oakland, is the son of Roger Bosky of Spokane, Wash., and Freya Bosky of Timonium, Md.
Alix graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz with a bachelor’s degree in modern society and social thought, and obtained a master’s degree in journalism from New York University. Paulie graduated from the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
Alix was a staff writer at j. the Jewish news weekly of Northern California for six years. She recently left to do a natural foods chef program. Paulie is a technical information specialist at Certain Software.
They were married by their dear friend and rosh of Kehilla Community Synagogue, Elizheva Hurvich, who also made their chuppah.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii, they returned to their home in Oakland.
