Daniel Harry Gross on Sept. 26, 2006 to Lisa and Kevin Gross, San Francisco. Grandparents, Joan and Stanley Gross, San Mateo and Gay and Kenneth Elfand, Woodland Hills. Great grandparents, Madeleine Kaufmann and late Felton Kaufmann, San Francisco, Sylvia Gross and late Harry Gross, Oakland, the late Dorothy and Louis Fine, and Samuel and Gertrude Elfand, Philadelphia.

Mary and David Rockman along with big brother, Nathan, happily announce the birth of Noah Jordan Rockman on September 27, 2006. Proud grandparents are JoAnn Shank of Los Gatos, Joseph Shank of San Jose, Anita Hoffman and Stanley Rockman of San Mateo. Great grandmother is Elinor Shank of Portland, Oregon. Noah is welcomed by aunts and uncles, Molly and Owen Seitel and Suzanne and Brian Towns and cousins, Sofie Seitel and Katie Towns, all of San Francisco. 

Supervisor Bevan Dufty and Rebecca Goldfader, NP are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter Sidney Maely Goldfader-Dufty.

Sidney was born on Yom Kippur, October 2, 2006, at 7:18pm. She was 6lbs, 9oz, and 19 inches long. Sidney was named for Rebecca’s father and Bevan’s mother. 

Sidney’s Hebrew name, Shai Mili, means “a gift unto me.” A baby naming is planned in December at Congregation Shaar Zahav.
