Sherith Israel celebrates Jewish Book Month
Congregation Sherith Israel in San Francisco will host a series of literary events geared toward all ages during November’s Jewish Book Month.
Author Lisa Brown will read from her new book and create drawings in the program “How to Be,” for children up to 5 years old, on Friday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m.
“Bay One-Acts Festival” with Linda Ayers Frederick, a program for adults, will take place on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m.
Christine Arena will present “The High Purpose Company: The Truly Responsible (and Highly Profitable) Firms That are Changing Business Now” on Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
And on Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. Jane Cutler will present “My Wartime Summers” and “The Cello of Mr. O” for young readers.
