It’s a joy! A daughter, Hannah Rose Kingsbury, was born Jan. 19 to Laura Schifrin and Mike Kingsbury of Marin County. Birth weight was 6 pounds, 14 ounces; height was 20-1/2 inches. Ecstatic grandparents are San Anselmo’s Woody Weingarten, managing editor of j., and Nancy Fox; Encino’s Dr. Barry and Cathy Schifrin; and Sharon and Dale Kingsbury of Sun Lakes, Ariz.

Justin Slayen is thrilled to announce the birth of his baby sister Hanah Rose Sugarman Slayen. Hanah Rose was born on January 18, 2007 to Melissa Sugarman Slayen and Craig Slayen of Marin. She is the proud granddaughter of Marilyn Sugarman of Marin, Dr. David Sugarman of San Mateo and Jackie and Dr. Larry Slayen of San Francisco. She is the great granddaughter of Morris Slayen of San Diego and Amelia Sugarman of San Francisco. Elated uncles and aunt are Kenny Slayen, Mark Sugarman & Kira Sugarman.

Sasha Silver Yolles, a daughter, born January 23rd to Stacey Silver and Jon Yolles. Grandparents are Marilyn and Murry Waldman of San Francisco and the late Merton Alexander Yolles, and Lainey Silver of Bristol, CT and Aaron Silver of Henderson, NV.
