Engagement

Susan and Steven Raike announce the engagement of their daughter Lauren to Matthew Miskelly. Lauren is the marketing manager of iChapters.com. Matt is in graduate school preparing to be a mathematics and physics teacher. The couple will be married in May 2008.

Debra Kerner and Ethan Allison announced their engagement in 2006 and will be married May 27 in Burlingame. Debra is the daughter of Joyce Robbins of Foster City and Gary Kerner of Jacksonville, Florida; and the granddaughter of Emanuel and Sybil Kuby of Burlingame; Francine Klein of Phoenix, Arizona; and the late Edwin Kerner of San Diego. Debra is a graduate of U.C. Davis and received her master’s degree in Spanish at Stanford. She served two years in Ecuador as a Peace Corps volunteer and is currently a teacher in Redwood City. Ethan is the son of Margaret Lindenstein and Dr. James Allison of Piedmont. He is a graduate of Piedmont High School class of 1992 and received his undergraduate degree in marketing in 1996 from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Ethan is currently a manager at a dot com company in San Francisco.
