Free magazines just for teens

Free subscriptions to JVibe, the magazine for Jewish teens, will be given away at Israel in the Gardens.

In collaboration with the Jewish Student Union, Jvibe is offering free magazines and other give-away items at JSU’s booth at the festival.

JVibe will provide up to 1,500 free three-year subscriptions to teens in nine San Francisco Bay Area counties, in a renewed partnership with the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund of San Francisco.

“It is a perfect fit for our two organizations to work together,” said Rabbi Shimon Margolin, director of the San Francisco office of JSU. “We share the same goal — to make Judaism and Jewish community relevant to Jewish teens.”

Jvibe (www.jvibe.com), a product of JFL Media, is a national initiative seeking to strengthen teens’ Jewish identity by creating content that is relevant, enlightening and entertaining. The magazine is geared toward 12- to 18-year-olds and has 13,000 subscribers nationwide.

JSU is a nondenominational organization serving more than 11,000 Jewish teens, with 170 Jewish culture clubs in public schools across the country (including seven clubs with 250 members in the Bay Area).

For additional information, contact Margolin at (415) 517-1651 or

email.
