engagement

Carolyn and Phil Spiegel of Los Altos and Leonard Gasiorek of Fremont are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Deborah Gasiorek, to Matthew Glenn, son of Bette Pricer of Jersey City and the late Kent Glenn. The couple was engaged on April 29th, 2007 in Big Sur, the same day they both completed the Big Sur Marathon.

The bride-to-be grew up in Los Altos and is a graduate of Homestead High School. Deborah earned her B.A. from UCLA and an M.B.A. and masters of international affairs from Columbia University. She now works in organizational development at Gap Inc. in San Francisco.

The groom-to-be grew up in Dana Point, Calif. and is a graduate of Dana Hills High School. Matthew earned his B.A. from Humbolt State University. He has worked at multiple start-up companies in Washington state and Silicon Valley. He is currently working as a product line manager for Cisco Systems wireless division in San Jose. The couple is planning a 2008 wedding in the Bay Area.
