John and Reva Segall of San Mateo are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Matthew Segall, to Lisa Lam, daughter of Mary and Raymond Lam of San Mateo. Matthew is the grandson of Janis Paslin of Burlingame and the brother of Laura Segall of Sunnyvale.

Lisa graduated with a bachelor of arts from U.C. Berkeley. She works in finance for a large, San Francisco-based insurance company. Matthew graduated with a bachelor of arts from UCLA and received an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a finance executive at a large San Francisco firm. Lisa and Matthew are planning to marry in October 2007.
