Local and national interfaith resources


JGate, www.jgate.org, is an independent, grassroots group in El Cerrito. It reaches out to anyone seeking a greater connection to Jewish life, including singles, couples, families, those in interfaith and multiracial relationships, Jews-by-Choice, adult children of interfaith families, members of the LGBT community and people of color. Building Jewish Bridges, www.jfed.org, is a project of the Jewish Community Federation of the Greater East Bay. It offers workshops, couples-groups and other programs to help people find answers to questions about family life, religious identity and religious practice. Interfaith Connection, www.jccsf.org/interfaith, is a project of the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco. It works with interfaith/intercultural couples and families in San Francisco, Marin and Sonoma Counties, in situations where one partner is Jewish. Project Welcome, www.projectwelcome.org, is an initiative of the Union for Reform Judaism. It works with interfaith couples and families, unaffiliated Jews and seekers into independent, Renewal, Reconstructionist, Reform and Conservative synagogue communities. Interfaith Family, www.interfaithfamily.com, is an online resource for interfaith families exploring Jewish life and a grassroots advocate for a welcoming Jewish community. Contact Interfaith Family at (617) 581-6860.
