Kol Nidre Web cast sets record
More than 20,000 people logged onto the High Holy Day service streamed live online at JewishTVNetwork.com. The Sept. 21 Kol Nidre service, originating at the Wilshire Boulevard Temple in Los Angeles, set a record for the Web site as its highest ever simultaneous online viewership.
JewishTVNetwork.com will next stream a Shabbat service led by Rabbi Naomi Levy, founder and spiritual leader of Nashuva, a Jewish outreach organization in Los Angeles. The live Web event takes place Oct. 12. For more information, go to www.JewishTVNetwork.com.
