Mixing, mingling under the sukkah
More than 100 people attended the third annual Spookot on Sunday, Sept. 30, which was sponsored by the Hub and Congregation Emanu-El. The lawn of Dolores Park in San Francisco was decorated with blankets, picnic baskets and lawn chairs as people young and old bundled up and got situated for a screening of the sing-along version of “Fiddler on the Roof.” In the nearby sukkah, people ate, talked and shook the lulav and etrog under a canopy of leaves and gourds.
