Peninsula schedule


The following is a schedule of events for the 2007 Celebration of Jewish Authors, presented by the Peninsula Jewish Community Center and Kepler’s Books in Menlo Park. It takes place Nov. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the PJCC, 800 Foster City Blvd., Foster City. Information: (650) 212-7522.


Session 1: noon to 12:45 p.m.

Lynn Freed, author of “Reading, Writing and Leaving Home”

Victoria Zackheim, “The Other Woman”

Session 2: 1:45 p.m. to 2:40 p.m.

Frances Lefkowitz, on writing a personal essay

Joshua Braff, author of “How to Spell Chanukah”

Session 3: 3 p.m. to 3:40 p.m.

Lisa Pearl Rosenbaum, author of “A Day of Small Beginnings”

Session 4: 4 p.m. to 4:40 p.m.

Robert K. Tanenbaum, author of “Malice”

For children:

1 p.m.-1:45 p.m., Amy Friedman, “Tell Me a Story”

1:45 p.m.-2:15 p.m., illustration activity

2:15 p.m.-3 p.m., Amy Friedman
