Nancy Katz and Mark Liebowitz joyfully announce their engagement.
Nancy and Mark met at the 2005 URJ biennial conference in Houston while each was a vendor. Mark has been fabricating stained glass for synagogues for over 30 years. In addition to Nancy’s continued work as a Jewish textile artist and arts educator, the two have begun to collaborate on glass projects. Nancy, chosen in 2005 by j. readers as “best chuppah maker” before leaving the Bay Area, intends to stand with Mark under one of her own sometime in the future. Meanwhile, they have studios and homes in two different northeastern states.
