Weddings

Shoshana Irit Kane and Stephen Aaron Silver were married on April 29, 2007, in San Mateo.

The bride, a native of San Francisco, is the daughter of Judith Kane (of blessed memory) of San Francisco, and Philip (and Ros) Kane of Beaverton, Oregon. She is the sister of Lee Kane (and Gina Rosito) of Mill Valley. She is a nurse.

The groom, originally from the Washington, D.C., area, is the son of Samuel (of blessed memory) and Phoebe Silver of Concord, and the nephew of Ruth and Joe Starr of Millbrae. He is an attorney.

The wedding was officiated by Rabbi Gordon Freeman and Cantor Marc Dinkin, both of Walnut Creek. Matron of honor was Melissa Kertz and best man was Steven Raskin.

The couple now resides in San Francisco.
