JFCS sessions for caregivers
Jewish Family and Children’s Services will hold a six-session program, called “You and Your Aging Parent,” for caregivers coping with issues related to aging.
Nurse Katie O’Connor and therapist Kevin Killelea will discuss the various resources available to caregivers and offer insight on how to deal with frustration, guilt and loss.
The sessions will be held 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays from April 16 to May 21. They will take place at the agency’s San Rafael office at 600 Fifth Ave.
Pre-registration is required; the program is free, though there is a suggested donation of $100. For more information or to register, call (415) 419-3601 or email AnnieK@jfcs.org.
