Weddings


Elana Devora Rubenstein and Daniel Justin Weinberg exchanged wedding vows in a ceremony performed by Rabbi Lavey Derby at The St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco on January 19, 2008.

The bride is a daughter of Marcia and Michael Rubenstein of Tiburon. She is a graduate of San Francisco University High School and Southern Oregon University. She is a graphic designer at VMware. The bridegroom is a son of Barbara and Matthew Weinberg of San Francisco. He is a graduate of Lick-Wilmerding High School, Dartmouth College and Santa Clara University School of Law. He is an attorney practicing with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.

The bride’s maid of honor was her sister, Ashley Gould. Bridesmaids were Amanda Blue, Lisa Bretones, sister of the bride, Jesykah Forkash, Jennifer Golbus, sister of the bride, Kelley Kinney, Lauren Mozumder and Kristen Weinberg, sister-in-law of the bride.

The bridegroom’s best man was his brother, Mark Weinberg. Groomsmen were Jared Abbey, Jose Luis Bretones, brother-in-law of the groom, Aaron Golbus, brother-in-law of the groom, Michael Goody, Aaron Kinney, Cobi Levy and Carlos Privat, brother-in-law of the groom.

The flower girls were Natalia Bretones and Adina Golbus. Ring Bearers were Jonah Golbus and Mateo Privat.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Australia and are at home in San Francisco.
