U.N. to pay damages to Israelis

According to the Justice Ministry, over 90 Israelis submitted claims to the United Nations However, a ministry spokeswoman said she did not know how many of these claims were for less than $100,000, and therefore she did not yet know how many had been rejected. All together, the four claimants were awarded a total of $38,710, according to the ministry. Altogether, the U.N. committee received 62,337 claims in the under-$100,000 category. The ministry did not know how many of these claimants the United Nations decided to compensate.
