B'nai B'rith protests Palestinian photo exhibit at U.N.

NEW YORK (JTA) -- For more than 20 years, a large photo exhibit titled "The Palestinian Struggle" has greeted millions of visito
But with the slowed but still ongoing Israeli-Palestinian peace process, B'nai B'rith wants the exhibit removed, or at least upd

The display, prepared by the United Nations, comprises six 3-by-4-foot panels displaying such images as a tearful Palestinian woman, a malnourished Palestinian child and Arafat addressing the U.N. General Assembly in 1974.

Headlines near the photos read: "The Search for the Solution to the Question of Palestine" and "Palestinian Rights -- The Right to Self-Determination."

Palestinian officials are staunchly opposed to altering the exhibit.
