Temple Israel in Alameda will host a potluck dinner and rabbi roast to honor outgoing Rabbi Patricia Karlin-Neumann at 6 p.m. Su

For dinner reservations and potluck assignments, call Barbara Cracraft by Monday, Aug. 19, at (510) 522-9355.

Karlin-Neumann will still lead High Holy Day services at the temple.
