Israeli trade deficit seen to be slowing
JERUSALEM (JTA) -- Israel's trade deficit for the month of July totaled $820 million, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported. The bureau said Monday that Israel's total trade deficit for the first seven months of the year now stands at $6.4 billion.
The bureau also said that Israeli exports are rising at a 5 percent annual rate while the level of imports has remained steady.
