South Bay Shorts Prayerbook, theology classes offered at San Mateo synagogue

Rabbi Alan Berg will teach a three-part class on Vitality, Mortality and Eternal Life at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 14, 21 and 28
Educator Patti Moscovitz will teach an eight-week class in Introduction to Prayerbook Hebrew beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan.

Communications class for couples to start this month at ALSJCC

Clinical psychologist Sylvia Randall will teach a workshop on Couples Communication at 6 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 16 through Feb. 20 at Albert L. Schultz Jewish Community Center, 655 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto.

Cost for the six-week course is $180 per couple for members, $210 nonmembers.
