Holocaust memorial set in San Jose

The Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors will sponsor a Yom HaShoah observance at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 6 in the Board Chambers
Speakers will include Roelof Van Zyl, a member of the Dutch resistance during World War II who hid Jews from the Nazis, and Geor

Co-sponsors are the National Conference of Christians and Jews, the Santa Clara County Human Relations Commission, the S.F.-based Jewish Community Relations Council and the Santa Clara County Rabbinic Association. The JCRC of Greater San Jose worked with the board of supervisors to organize the event.
