Torah trope classes, haftarah chanting in S.F.

A six-week class on haftarah chanting with Cantor Rudy Hassid also will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19. Students must be able to read Hebrew for either class.

Conversational Hebrew with Erela Sivan will meet for 22 weeks beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17. Students must have some knowledge of spoken Hebrew.

Registration deadline is Monday, Nov. 10. Cost for any class is $75 for synagogue members, $120 for non-members. For information, call (415) 661-3383.
