Noah's kosher status changes made public

Noah's has developed a new line of sandwiches that will include kosher and non-kosher items such as corned beef, turkey and pastrami-style turkey along with two vegetarian sandwiches and two cold salads. "We are sensitive to all customers and want to provide products for both kosher-observant and non-kosher-observant clientele," the ad reads. "As before, the Rabbinical Council of California (RCC) will continue to supervise our bagels, challah and cream cheese shmear at our production plant." Critics say although the products may arrive at Noah's kosher, they do not remain so in a non-kosher environment. Customers with questions or comments are encouraged to call (800) 931-NOAH.
