San Francisco Shorts JCC of S.F. accepting enrollments for adult ed

"Jewish Identity in American Film" examines two classic American films that echo different attitudes toward Jews. The showing and discussion of "Gentleman's Agreement" are from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 17 and Sept. 24, followed by "Frisco Kid" from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 1 and Oct. 8. Cost is $30 for members and $40 for the public. Drop-in costs are $10 and $12, $5 for S.F. Hillel students. Modern Hebrew, Yiddish and a variety of dance and exercise classes also are available.
